Helped Girlfriend table at a convention for a few hours after work. A guy picked up a copy of The Cold Snap and asked what it’s about.
“Well, it’s actually book 2 in a paranormal crime series. The first one is about werewolves, and the one you have is about fairies.”
He’s not impressed by this. No one ever is. “I sort of understand the cover for that one (the first one) but why does this one look like a horror novel if it’s about fairies?”

Quick question! Can this book be read standalone or is it considered a sequel?
I wrote it with the intention of that. They’re kind of episodic, but there is an over-arching plot that ties the books together. (Book 3 is waiting on an edit.)
That said, they’re fairly short books. So if you wanted to read Killer Habit first, which is about werewolves, you could do that without making a huge commitment of your personal time to it.
