I’ll also say that I have no issues with drag but this kid is too young. I have similar issues with beauty competitions for young girls. Because at the time you consistently hear these kids talk about how great it is, until they turn out like car wrecks when they grow into teens/adults and we find out the kids were subjected to emotional pressure from their parents, which fucked them up.
This isn’t even touching upon the provocative nature of drag. Which if it was restricted to dressing and acting like the opposite sex, would be fine. But sex, sexuality and performance are also key aspects of drag, exemplified by the Fringe Festival, where you can see pictures of drag queens dry humping, open mouth kissing, exposing their bulges and drawing penises.
