Fauxmani want the exoticism and “cool factor” they associate with ~Gypsies~ but, when it comes down to it, ignore the extreme racism “their” people face in Europe and worldwide. They’ll use the culture to sell things or seem more interesting, but are silent when Romani people are literally driven out of our homes as they burn to the ground, denied education and healthcare, assaulted, beaten, raped, and murdered.

You want our clothes and music and bright colors, but – like vultures – you ruthlessly pick apart our culture and leave behind what remains because it’s ugly and scary and sad.
