Hi all. My name is Annie and I’m twenty years old. I am currently unable to work due to my disability. As of today, August 2nd, 2018, My family members helped me move all my furniture into the new apartment as I’m not able to move stuff by myself. I am now at home awaiting a bed to open up in rehab. I am living off off donations currently. Disability has not adjusted my check to include my new rental needs.
The way disability benefits works in my area is they pay a month behind schedule. At the end of July, I will get my benefits for July. Therefore, my cheque will not reflect my new rental needs. At the end of August, they will adjust my cheque to fit my new rental needs, so I just need to get through August.
I am currently receiving $662/month and my new rent is $564/month. That will leave me with $98 leftover to pay my hydro, groceries and my phone bill. There is no way I can afford all that with $98.
If you can help in anyway, please buy my photographs on Etsy! I want to give donors something in exchange for the money they give me because I hate asking for freebies. I do have a Paypal if you wish to just donate something small, or a Ko-fi too. I would prefer that donors support my photography if possible that way I feel as though I have earned the money, but you may also donate to Paypal or Ko-fi. Thanks!!
