HELP KEEP THE BRAZILIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM TEACHING

As you may have heard, our national museum was destroyed in a fire last month, but not all is lost, because some of the pieces of the institution were in different locations at the time of the fire!

This fund raiser is about reintegrating the work with schools and teaching the young about history, culture, and science.

The national museum was incorporated to the UFRJ(Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) in the 1940′s, and offered courses on social anthropology, zoology, biology, bothanics, archeology, geosciences, linguistics, and native languages.

This campaign aims to take back the activities with schools, focusing specially on bothanics and zoology using mainly the national bothanical garden.
