TIL a cave goat that went extinct approx. 5,000 years ago is the first known mammal to have become cold-blooded. Their bone growth rate is unlike any other mammal, and more similar to crocodiles in showing slow and adaptive rates to environmental temperature.
The goat’s binomial name is Myotragus balearicus. It was kind of an oddball in a lot of other ways, too, an example being that it had forward-facing eyes, giving it stereoscopic vision, which was pretty odd for an ungulate.
can we talk for a second about how surreal it is that Professor Willow a realistically designed character is talking to Professor Oak who looks like a chicken nugget??? Just seeing them together is really jarring.

if you don’t live in Texas, you can donate. you don’t have to live in the state to donate. donating is one of the best ways you can support him because it funds his campaign! as mentioned above, he doesn’t take PAC money. he is 100% grassroots campaign, funded by people, for people.

honestly women should collectively just disagree to argue with men because every “polite discussion” a man has ever initiated with me has shown me that this is merely a tool they use to uplift their own egos and express their narcissism. I wont elaborate because its tiring and literally every woman knows what im talking about, as women in discussion we serve as a tool for men to fill their egos. Eventhough we make equal (and more often much better) points and arguments, they scream over us with no place for us to scream back because then we have lost (an angry woman has lost but an angry man has the right to feel whatever hes feeling). Anyways i wish not to speak to a man ever again in my life and i will not elaborate, ever, thank you so much.
