Worldwide, withstanding that Christianity is the most populous religious group, Christians are the most persecuted religious group. Obviously, this is not so in the USA, but in some countries, including Islamic ones, Christians are regularly killed for their faith. This might give you some perspective on why American Christians think the way they do.
Trust me when I say that deep down that the vast majority of White Conservative Christians do not give two shits about Christians in the Middle East or around the world. They care about using the suffering of PoC Christians to justify their awful rhetoric, and would be willing to discard them without a second thought.
White Conservative Christians were pretty damn silent when ICE rounded up Chaldean Catholics to be deported right back into Iraq.

And like…. the whole “I didn’t know!!!!” is literally the entire point!!! The conservative Christian outrage machine literally doesn’t care abt non-“Western” Christians when it cant use them as an islamophobic prop. There’s a reason you didn’t hear about the Chaldean Christians and you prolly heard a fuck ton about the plight of poor oppressed Christian bakery owners being crushed under the thumb of the Gays. The fact that you didn’t know about it is not neutral.
