Here’s a nice photo of our home, Earth and it’s good ole friend the moon, I suppose, the other half of our system.
Although we see our moon nightly and observe it’s daily effects on our tides, I think I can be forgiven for saying that we didn’t really grow to appreciate the relationship between the Moon and Earth until we set foot on it in 1969. So, it’s nice to have a photo of them together.
Taken by NASA’s Juno spacecraft in 2011, we see Earth on the left and the Moon on the right. The image was taken when the spacecraft was around 9.66 million kilometres away; a long way from home.
nobody likes the “bad boys” who insult and degrade their partners while wearing pastel polos with popped collars, people like REAL bad boys who wear leather jackets and take a lot of care in how they shape their pompadour and carry around stiletto switchblades and care about their communities and ride a motorcycle and rebel against the government and says stuff like “NOBODY insults my gal” and gets in fistfights with dudes who catcall their girlfriends. THOSE bad boys are the guys everyone wants.
i’m back at my ancestral home (lowe’s) and I just watched a very burly man in a lot of flannel carry a potted orchid SO TENDERLY across the parking lot
A sentence that starts with “i’m back at my ancestral home (lowe’s)” has to work really hard to make the end of that sentence equally as amazing and by god you’ve done it
lesbians don’t need condoms in their bedside tables. they need hair ties.
I mean condoms are so good for women to have safe sex with. You can put your fingers in them for safe fingering or you can turn them into dental dams for safe eating, or you can put them on a dildo to prevent the spreading of germs as long as you put a new one on for every person and orifice. Also trans women exist. Safe sex is important y’all.
The idea that lesbians don’t need condoms is such a dangerous mindset like please know this is not a thing whether or not you’re lesbian
Whenever I make a series, the last one is the hardest. EVEN
though this wasn’t the last one I created it needed some extra work.
Originally, I thought this would be Rose’s Site. It’s in the same color scheme
as Pink’s site.
The colors are softer. I’m not sure if that’s welcoming but
it’s certainly homey & safe. The website features Earth by itself. A
central focus. Here, Rose wants to know your name. That’s all the information
she needs. There are no stats, informative boxes, or even gem identifications
because Earth is a place to be whoever you want to be.
The third page, Rose is interested in the gem’s talents.
Like Blue’s site, there is value in knowing what gems are good at. Unlike Blue,
Rose wants in coming gems to look outside of those skills and learn new things
about themselves.
The join page, is not demanding at all. It sends a different
message from YD & BD’s pages. A gem could simply be on Earth and not want
to be a crystal gem. It is a serious decision and could prevent a gem from ever
returning to homeworld.
A guide to fusions is needed. It is also welcomed to take
your time when wanting to build relationships that could support a fusion. NPC
Garnet is there to walk any gem through the needed steps.
Lastly is Rose looking at the horizon of the moon,
preferably from the moon base. She’s deeply in love with this planet, and hopes
the gems she is protecting will feel the same way about Earth.
