can we just take some time to really appreciate how much effort sakurai and the smash team is putting into smash bros ultimate?
they didn’t HAVE to put all the previous characters(even Snake!) into the game
they didn’t have to have all these new crazy modes like the stamina mode and the stage-morphing thing
they didn’t have to add tons of crossover characters people were begging for like Simon Belmont and Richter
and they didn’t have to have 103 stages, and over 800 pieces of music
and they certainly didn’t have to make tons of tweaks and changes to the game’s formula to make it much more fun and competitvely viable
the game would’ve sold millions without all those amazing things!
seriously, sakurai and the smash team, thank you so much for developing quite literally, one of the most ultimate video games I have ever seen in my life
