short answer: tumblr is now banning all adult content.  most likely not. at least, not intentionally. many users have had their account deactivated because of the staff’s system for vetting and checking, and it’s highly flawed.

so that means no porn, nothing explicit, no human genitals, etc. etc. however, one of the rules is no female-presenting nipples. which is fucked up since we obviously know nipples are sex organs (i’m kidding. i’m fucking pissed about that specifically

avoid it: well? they say they’re banning posts not people, except people who aren’t nsfw blogs have been terminated (surprisebitch is a popular example) so who fucking knows. if your blog gets terminated and you know for a fact that you aren’t an nsfw blog, you can email them to get it back. it takes a while but it gets done.

the new guideline is super fucked up. they didn’t have problems in the past with child porn or literal nazis, but sure, take away the adult content.
