In the olden days, if footage was not used in a film, it was either destroyed or erased so they could reuse the reel, because it was cheaper than storing unused film.
Google the BBCâs lost archives to find out more.

Whatâs funny is that the Netherlands is known as a super progressive and pro LGBTQ country (they were the first country to legalize gay marriage, pride here is a huge deal, and many of my friends deem it safe to be out), but even in my friendâs ultra-leftist neighborhood these posters were vandalized. It makes me so mad when people say âyou donât need more rights//you can marry, what else do you want//what oppression lol everyone is equal in the West :))))â because itâs so fucking ignorant and false.
Yâall. I found it. The crown jewel of shifty finds. This is the chariot that Iâll ride into hell.

In Seattle, Washington, an aged and allegedly âhauntedâ coke machine has been in the same spot for over fifteen years, but despite its outward appearance the machine is fully functional. In fact, the machine has always worked. Some of the drinks it dispenses are normal Coke products, but some are products that are no longer on the market and donât exist any more. Some of the buttons are labeled as a âmysteryâ and give a random product when pushed. The business closest to it, a locksmith, state that they have never witnessed anyone restocking the machine at any time, No one ever has, and the mystery of it has attracted tons of people to test out the machine for themselves. Itâs also pretty interesting to note that the prices for the sodas have risen over time, recently being from 55 cents to 75. I guess ghost machines have to pay the bills somehow.
I HAVE SEEN THIS MACHINE
I feel like this is the closest thing to an irl SCP Iâve ever heard of.
