We out here creating a lil mini universes and shit
God, I want Mamma Mia to become the Fast and Furious franchise of musicals. They just keep making them for no reason, and the more they make the more you don’t even care that there isn’t a plot.
You think we care about a plot? The first movie could have been solved in 2 seconds with a DNA test, but instead they decide to sing about how this girl doesn’t know which of these 3 men is her dad for 2 hours and in the end THEY STILL DON’T HAVE AN ANSWER. AND NO ONE CARES.
The plot is ABBA karaoke, and it brings me joy. That’s all you need to know.
Stu, let me ask you a question: how did you not realize until then that you had too many eggs? Nobody sells eggs in a big cloth-covered basket, so you must have done that yourself. That means you spent god-knows-how-long opening up twelve whole cartons of eggs, carefully placing each egg one-by-one inside a big basket, and then covering it with a big picnic cloth… and at no point- at no point- did you ever stop and think “gee, there might be TOO MANY FUCKING EGGS HERE”
Girls get made fun of for everything might as well do what you want lol
not to be dramatic but this mentality literally freed me
In high school I realized this and it broke my brain a little, but it was very freeing. I realized I would never do anything right in the eyes of everyone else. So if none of them could be happy, at least I could have fun.
I realize this broke all my female training, made me louder, less compliant, less likely to take the blame for men, less likely to apologize, and that all of that means there are many angry men crying in my wake because I didn’t fit the servile image they’d been taught to consume. But I did meet a better class of men who are thinkers and feminists. I made better friends. I had a better life.
