i had a dream that mentions of magic were banned so harry potter had
to be reprinted with “wizard” replaced with “cool guy” and any mention
of a magic spell replaced with “sweet trick”
Every time I read this I start laughing bc I keep thinking about Harry’s utter disbelief that he could ever be a cool guy “I think you must have made a mistake. I don’t think I can be a cool guy”
can u believe some people can see a cat & not immediately be filled with absolute unconditional love for that animal. they dont even get the urge to kiss them right on their little baby cat head. thats incomprehensible to me
I think i’ve requested this before and idk if anybody replied to it bc i forgot to check on it and ended up losing the post but does anybody have that picture of those girls standing around a very fat tuxedo cat w/ their knees slightly bent? One time I worked as a personal assistant for this rich dude. He was pretty ok for like. A dude w more money than I can rlly comprehend? Anyways a part of his assets was this grain processing plant; idk what they actually did I just ran errands for the dude n made sure he wasn’t bothered from big money decisions basically. Glorified coffee bitch? Anyways we’re working one day and the workers catch this random lady like??? Taking bags of whatever the hell they kept in the plant. We’re getting ready to call the cops, I’m getting anxious, and the boss…….. tells them to let her go. He tells her she’s allowed to take only what she can carry in her own arms. So she scrambled off with the bag of wheat or corn or whatever ???? And the crews super confused and the boss goes “do not stop her from getting what she can carry” & so that happens again like once a week for the next few months. I find out she’s actually an immigrant and a widow? Living with her dead husbands mom. She’s been stealing to feed her mom in law. Anyways eventually one day she like. Approached my boss. In his office.
And like a month later I was given an invitation to their wedding it was extremely fucked up my boss married a lady who was a wheat thief
i dunno man there’s just something so contently satisfying to me about “hostile” aesthetics like goth and punk tinged with unabashed, unashamed positivity
maybe it’s bc i liked the addams family too much as a kid but give me conventionally creepy gross stuff like frogs and bones and rats and dyed hair and lots of black clothes but this time overlay it with just. flagrant positivity. dye your hair and if a kid asks why it’s purple tell them you’re secretly a fairy. adopt a black cat and make kissy noises at it. wear all-black outfits bc they make you feel good and confident. collect animal skulls or halloween decorations or own some frogs or bugs or snakes because that’s what you love. goth and punk are about not caring what people think but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t care about people. be kind and giving and loving; save your anger and fight for the people who aren’t.
