They are already doing this, to a certain extent.  If you have a Hispanic sounding name, and you were not born in a hospital, the Trump government is no longer accepting an official state issued birth certificate as proof of citizenship to issue a passport.  This began near the border, under the claim that perhaps the person was born in Mexico and the midwife only claimed they were born in the US.  But others who were born as far inland as Iowa have been similarly denied.

He can’t actually do it, but he owns SCOTUS and the Constitution has all the weaknesses of any contract, it is only as strong as the person willing to enforce it.

This isn’t just about immigrants. With this, his regime can revoke anyone’s citizenship. This includes his critics and opponents.

Not long ago, Bolsonaro announced he would purge and imprison Brazil’s leftist population.

This is no coincidence.
