Look at this young black man who made a mistake, set this young brother free, he ain’t did nothing wrong
In the 4 days since his violent act, he’s really made strides to turn his life around. This man has a mother and siblings who love him. #FreeDedrick
Locking him up only perpetuates the many stereotypes that society puts on black men and we need to stop doing this if we ever want our young black men to rise up to their full potentials
So I looked up the whole story and, as the BBC reports:
I legitimately want to know what the wife’s reaction to this was. I know she deserves to go to jail for attempted murder, but I can only just wonder what was going through her head when she saw him get out of bed complaining of a headache.
So I’ve seen the post he’s talking about around tumblr and twitter, but haven’t seen this on tumblr. I think it’s worth sharing.
(Also remember: do *not* pet service dogs!)
Tldr: service dogs would not leave their owner’s side if they were having a seizure to fetch someone. They would stay with them. The post circulating around Tumblr is wrong and is spreading misinformation about service dogs.
